R.I.P. Fatty
Fatty, also known as my larger than life cat, passed away. This news was brought to be on day that I had a nervous breakdown over my finances and may have CRIED on the subway. Twice. While going home to get the one check I had to save my poor sad ass.
So I wasn’t surprised when my mother told me that I broke down in tears. (The fact that it was my first cat and my parents waited a week to tell me that he died may have caused that too).
RIP my little fatty.
In other news, last night I flew out to Michigan for my best’s The Future Mrs Wedding (she no longer will be the future mrs!) Today was the rehearsal at the temple, where I got to meet the rest of the bridal party and see my three favorite people in the world–Sarah with an H, The Future Mrs (of course) and her Fiance. It was so beautiful where they are having their ceremony, the backdrop has willow trees and a lake, absolutely stunning. And the weather is going to be really nice tomorrow–not too humid and cooler!
I may be a tad nervous about tomorrow. I have to walk, BY MYSELF, down the aisle. Ummm I need someone else there so in case I fall, we can fall TOGETHER and BOTH look like fools! Come on now! At least there aren’t stairs. There almost were stairs involved and we all were worried. Stilettos + nervous girls + dresses = KLUMSINESS.
After the rehearsal was over I went to starbucks with Sarah with an H (shes the maid of honor) and we dished about our dating life and what has been going on with each other–always entertaining! It feels like its been like…3 years since we last talked.
I’m about to go eat a HOME COOKED MEAL! (Praise jebus!) and try to ignore that my 50 dollar mani pedi (fuck michigan!) is total crap and I could so have done a better job. MY DOG COULD HAVE.
Ahem.
Have a great saturday night and rest of your weekend!
PS. Has anyone else been THIS NERVOUS to be a bridesmaid and walk down an aisle?!?!

So sorry about Fatty. I lost my dog of 13 years last week
So sorry for your loss.
I have always been more nervous about being a bridesmaid/maid of honor than when I was a bride. I’m sure you’ll be great. Have a wonderful time.
i’m so sorry for your loss honey….i know he’ll be greatly missed.
and in other news, when i was home in small town pa, i also had an “OHMAIGOD did I realllllly pay THAT much for a mani/pedi??!!! baby boy B could have done a better job!!!”
le sigh. i’m sure you’ll be fabulous walking down the aisle. and quite gorgeous as well. xo.
im so, so sorry about the loss of your kitty. that has got to be so hard….
glad that the rest of your weekend was good though, at least there’s that ray of sunshine:)
Eep, so sorry to hear about your cat. What a loss my dear.
As for the bridesmaid gig- I was really nervous being the MC for a wedding last week, but once you realize that no one is paying attention to you (everyone is paying attention to the bride and groom), it does get easier. You will be wonderful!
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your baby Fatty. He will live on in your heart forever and will always be with you. Sending hugs!
I am sure you did wonderful! Can’t wait to see pics!
Sorry to hear about your kitty. It’s so hard to lose a childhood pet.
I’m sure you were fine at the wedding!
I am so sorry to hear about Fatty and I hope the wedding was wonderful. I’m sure you did a great job.
Sorry about Fatty
he looks a lot like my current cat.
I’m so sorry to hear about Fatty. My beloved black kitty, Bailey, passed away two weeks ago. I bet they are chasing mice and playing with catnip together in kitty heaven.
Fatty looks like my first cat too.
Aww its so sad he passed away!
On the other hand, you did well with walking down the aisle. At least better than Miss USA, I heard she fell during Miss Universe last night :-p
So sorry about kitty!!!

Aww, Fatty (looks just like my Hermoine) rest in peace.
Oh yes. Being a bridesmaid and walking down the aisle is terribly scary. The entire time I was thinking, “Please don’t fall. Please don’t fall.”
I am so sorry about your dear. I know he meant so much to you.
I’m sorry about Fatty.
I was a bridesmaid for my BFF in cali about 2 years ago, and I was super nervous. But a couple of small shots from a snazzy flask fixed that!
