So I Lied
Remember how I said I could care less about the olympics?
I couldn’t have lied more.
I should have said I didn’t care about the opening ceremonies. Because the actual games? OBSESSED.
Swimming? My new favorite sport (probably because there are hot guys ALL THE TIME with their shirts off. I watched Phelps (who doesn’t have a crush on this guy?!) win his 10th gold (HOORARY!!) but fell asleep in the middle of womens gymnastics. I’ve watched diving, beach volleyball, tennis….you name it i’ll watch it.
Apparently I did care, I just didn’t know Michael Phelps existed.

LMAO! I’m completely obsessed too! I keep wondering why I’m so tired all day and then I realize that it’s because I’ve been staying up every night until 1:30am watching the freaking Olympics! Ryan Lochte is so hot! I went to the same college as him, why did I not find him there and make him be my husband?! (Not that looks are the most important thing!) So is Eric Shanteau, the swimmer who is supposed to swim tonight or tomorrow who has cancer, he’s cute. Their bodies are just so HOT! Okay, I must stop and wipe the drool away and compose myself!

That part of their lower abs RIGHT.BEFORE it disappears into his swimming trunks?? Oh, to die for. That is my favorite part of the male body. Gah. He is hot. And there are others, but their names escape me, because I can’t.stop.drooling.
I just don’t understand how people are able to do that to their bodies. I could try for years, and never even come close. They’re pretty incredible, and I am finding myself glued to the TV.
I should have been a male gymnast, I swear to God. My mom really dropped the ball on this one.
Ok, convincing arguments… But I am still not watching the Olympics

I’ve been watching whenever I can. In addition to Phelp’s amazing stomach, I just can’t believe how much he kicks ass at swimming. Imagine being the absolute best at what you do, at the age of 23?? Unbelievable.
One of the camera people were BEHIND Michael when he was cheering on Lezak in that fantastic relay earlier this week… His swimsuit was ppulled down so low that I kept worrying it’d slide and he’d moon us, but at the same time it was kind of fantastic to see all those lower back and hip muscles… dang.
I, too, am OBSESSED. At least tonight Phelps was done pretty early and pulled off an unbelievable victory. I really thought he got the Silver in tonight’s race. OMG… their bodies are just so damn yummy!
Watching Phelps race is just incredible. He’s brilliant. Did you hear how much the boy eats for BREAKFAST every day? He burns like 4,000 calories during one workout. HOLY SHIZNIT!
At first I didn’t get into the whole Olympics hype either, but I keep getting more and more into as time goes by.
