When I Said “Real Post” I May Have Been Lying…

All I have for you today, besides popcorn making cell phones, are bulletpoints. My brain is not quite awake yet therefore any real post I could do would only resemble mush. Maybe I should stop using my cell phone? (Although to be honest, I don’t think the video is real. Notice in each one how there is a cell phone that doesn’t have a screen? Yeah….

Anyway on with the bullet points. (Is it bad that the image of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin doing the little gun song and dance from the Couric skit?)

• I woke up this morning with a bad case of the sneezes and it hasnt’ stopped since. I’ve made about 10 trips to the bathroom to blow my nose and its only 10am. I BETTER NOT BE GETTING SICK. I swear to God, oh cruel universe, if I get sick THREE DAYS before I leave for Germany? SOMEONE IS GOING DOWN.

 

• Speaking of Germany, I haven’t packed. Not one little bit. Instead I downloaded a lot of new music (aka PURCHASED. Someone take away my iTunes account!) and made new playlists. Proof that I have the most ecclectic taste in music: I downloaded a handful of Sarah Brightman/Andrea Botticelli operatic songs, a bunch of old school George Michael/Wham!, T.I.’s new song with Rihanna, and Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline (which I proceeded to dance around my living room to). Playlists are very important for 8 hour plane rides. So are clothes but shhhhh dont’ tell me that.

 

• I have so much do to before I leave on friday. Mainly: packing ten days worth of clothes and toiletries into a small backpack; buy an outlet/voltage converter; find a laptop bag for my brothers new laptop; figure out how I’m going to be able to pay for Germany since my germany money is locked up tight in my other checking account AND I CAN’T ACCESS IT #$@#&$&$#*%&$@; did I mention pack? Yeah I have to do that still. In a major way.

 

• I had my re-second date last night with the I-Banker. The one problem with having dates with him during the week is that they usually are ridiculously late at night. Last nights date? Didn’t start until 11:15. We just hung out at his apartment so it was pretty lowkey (if you ignore the headboard bumping sex we had.) and I managed to roll out of there around 1. Other issues I’m noticing (with him and myself): he’s a little heavier than I usually like; I have a bad tendency of fleeing the scene after sex, especially on weeknights which leads him to tell me (hopefully jokingly) that he feels cheap; his INSANE work schedule. I probably won’t see him now for another month with me traveling and him going to Malaysia for work the week after I get back. Not sure how to forge a relationship out of that one. Boo!

 

• In regards to Max, I need to be slapped. Hard. No actually, HE NEEDS TO BE.

 

• Yesterday at work the only exciting thing I did ALL DAY was move two boxes of spec books upstairs. That’s literally all I did the entire day besides sit and chat with coworkers and hide on the second floor. Thanks to this extreme lack of work, I have become quite lazy at work (oh hai blog, lets write ten million posts!) and now that I actually HAVE something to do, I am having trouble actually doing it. Whoops.

 

• I have lost ALL respect for John McCain and Sarah Palin (as if that was possible). These recent attacks on Obama have sunken to a new low level of utter disrespect and idiocy. Did you hear about the rally McCain was at where he asked who the REAL Obama was and someone responded terrorist? I take that back, I haven’t lost all respect for JUST McCain and Palin, I have lost respect for their ignorant supporters. (No offense to anyone who supports McCain, just those ignorant ones who think Obama and terrorist belong in the same sentence–unless its of course his OPPOSITION TO TERRORISM)

 

• When did my blog become so political? Sheesh, sorry guys!

 

• My weather forecast for Germany looks something like this (and its making me smile)

        Looks like damn good weather to me!!! And not as cold as I was expecting.

And that concludes this wonderful second post of the day. I can’t say its the last because we don’t know how bored I will get but for now I am happy to be a little more awake, happy that I’m getting paid today because I HAVE NO MONEY, happy that I’m THREE DAYS away from going to Germany and happy that todays lunch is catered.
