NYC Blogger Meet-Up-Can You Make It?
Well everyone, we’re into July and its nearly a month til the Big Bad Blogger Meetup is taking over Manhattan and I need to get some final numbers. Here are the details, so far:
When? August 14-16
Where? New York City
Maris and I have been talking and have decided that, for the most part, it won’t be that planned out–a lot of people are coming in from out of town, some who’ve never even been to new york. We want people to be able to see what they want to see as well as hang out with some pretty fabulous bloggers. There are a lot of things to do–duck tours, statue of liberty, times square, empire state building…so much that we couldn’t possibly fit it all in for EVERYONE to see. Plus, some may not want to see all of it.
What we do know is that Saturday, August 15th will be the big get together–where everyone congregates for dinner, then drinks at specific locations. Sunday, August 16th we’ll have a brunch at another restaurant and then we all can go off our own ways. Friday, since some, or all of you will be arriving that evening, we can all plan to meet for drinks too, that way people can figure out what they want to do all day saturday.
All that will be figured out, but first I need to know who all is coming. I think the best way is through another poll so please take the poll, then respond in the comment section either yes or no so I can put names to the faces.
If you are new to this and haven’t been receiving emails then please respond, and leave a comment with your email address! Feel free to pass this along to your blog friends who may not know my blog but who you’d like to see come!

I’ll be there but more than likely will be taking the train back to Poughkeepsie some time in the middle of the night so count me out for brunch.

My exact plans aren’t clear yet, but I’ll either be taking the train down Saturday morning or driving down Friday after work and staying with a friend on LI for the weekend. Most likely I will not be doing brunch on Sunday though.

So far it’s looking like a “yes” for me! Unless some pesky wedding stuff comes up, you know, something silly like finding a place to live. I mean, hello future life, don’t you realize I have some super cool bloggers I need to meet?!
I will most likely be able to make it. I would come in on Saturday and maybe, hoepfully, spend the night. I can’t wait!
Still up in the air if I can come – depends on my mom, strangely – but I don’t have anywhere to stay as of now. And without that, I won’t make it.

Dudes! I think I might be able to come to this! My girlfriends and I are planning a New York trip in August.. they’ve already booked the time off but I’m not sure what days. My fingers are crossed it works out!

update – i’ll be there – fiance in tow, Friday night only. We’ll be in CT the entire week so we’ll pop down to NYC for dinner/drinks with y’all (he might be meeting up with someone else) then head to his brothers kegger on Saturday in CT.
