This Life’s NYC Bucket List
This may be my last summer in New York City (for a while anyway) so i thought, why not make a bucket list of sorts for what I want to do in NYC before I leave? There are so many things that I haven’t gotten to do yet. Here’s a list, not in any particular order.
1. Go to the Guggenheim Museum (on Fridays of course, when it is free!)
2. Shakespeare in the Park
3. Philharmonic in the Park
4. Eat at the Top of the Rock restaurant
5. Go to a David Letterman Show
6. Go see the Frick Collection (I oggle the building every day on my way to and from work)
7. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge
8. Another trip to the Museum of Natural History
9. Row the boats in Central Park
10. Eat at the Boathouse
11. Tour Long Island’s wine country. Preferably on horseback
13. Go see Guys and Dolls on Broadway (who wants to take me? 😉 )
14. See one more Red Sox/Yankees game in the new Yankee Stadium
15. Go the Astoria Beergarten
16. Atlantic Avenue Tunnel Tours (Thanks Lacey for alerting me to this!)
17. Going to the top of the Statue of Liberty (They are opening the crown this summer!)
18. Seeing the apparent most fabulous subway station in manhattan, which is closed. Apparently if you stay on the 6 train past its last stop, it turns around in the old City Hall subway station, which is supposed to be gorgeous.
You have some things on your list that I need to add to mine!! 🙂
Ooooo. I really hope you get it all done!
I’m a fan of adding “While drinking” to all of these, and totally doing them on the meetup. Haha.
